2024 was a great year for GO. Abraao and Sara, our GO directors in Brazil, have assured us that what we are doing is “a miracle” for the people we are serving (their words verbatim). Since a picture says a thousand words, I am going to include a short video sent directly from one of our new chicken farming families one year after we helped them build a chicken farm. In this video, I want you to picture a desolate wasteland prior to all that you will

see. Since the chicken farm was built, this family has had the means to develop their land extensively and purchase more animals. This not only provides a means of food and income for their family but transforms the entire

community around them. With your generosity, here is what we have been able to do in 2024:

•  Construct 5 chicken farms

•  Construct 8 complete bathrooms

•  Assist Abraao and Sara (our Brazilian directors) to tour parts of Europe to raise support for our projects in the Sertao

•  Assist Abraao and Sara to purchase a car for travels into the Sertao

•  Support Abraao and Sara as our national directors for the entire year

It is humbling for Shelley and I to be part of something sooo life-changing for a group of special people. We are so glad that some of you have chosen to be part of Gateway Outreach. As we write this update, Brazilian currency is 6:1, so each dollar you send is multiplied 6 times in Brazil. Here is what each project costs:

- Chicken Farm - $3,000

- Bathroom - $500

- Support for Abraao and Sara - $500 per month

- Other water & food projects – depends on the project
